(1) Vendor needs to provide medical director services to the government authority located in Bennington, VT.– Provide On–Site Medical Director.1. To serve as liaison agent between the administration of agency and the medical community of Bennington, Vermont.2. To coordinate the medical care at agency and ensure the proper medical and health related services are provided to all residents.3. To advise the administration on conditions that might affect the health or welfare of the residents and advise on prospective admissions.4. To review, evaluate, and recommend revisions to all medical and resident care policies of agency. Policy review and development shall be conducted on an on–going basis as requested.5. To be responsible for communicating to all physicians, medical staff members of the medical policies, procedures, rules and regulations of the agency and to assist the administration in ensuring that medical staff members comply with these policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.6. To participate as a Quality Assurance Committee member in conducting and reporting on monthly quality assurance monitors on various aspects of medical and resident care.– Coordinate in–service training programs for nursing services and other related services at least quarterly(2) The contract period will be for two years.
