– Vendor needs to provide media asset management (MAM) platform. – Web–browser–based access to search, browse, review, and manage media assets and metadata; no client software installation required for end users.– Solution execution components requiring direct access to the StorNext MDC and Active Scale endpoint must be deployable on controlled infrastructure; a purely external SaaS architecture.– Configurable, extensible custom metadata schema, including support for system managed (read–only to end users) fields written by external integrations. – Active Scale object storage providing the archive tier for StorNext Storage Manager, exposed via an S3– compatible API.– Metadata controller (MDC) accessible via the StorNext Web Services API and SNFS management interface on the internal production network.– Solution must integrate with the existing primary storage (Quantum StorNext) and archive storage (ActiveScale) tiers.– Automatic generation of browse–quality proxies at time of ingest for files landing on primary StorNext storage.
