(1) Vendor needs to provide clean energy industry report service to the government authority located in RI.• The selected vendor will work closely with the Parties to conduct primary and secondary market research, analysis, and ultimately write these reports that effectively communicate the agency emerging clean energy market.• The goals of these reports include an analysis of: – The size and breadth of the clean energy industry. – The needs of employers regarding education and training. – The capacity for this sector to deliver high quality, family–supporting career opportunities for all agency– The opinions and priorities of industry executives regarding agency clean energy business and capital climate. • Demonstrate the ability to accurately survey the clean energy industry, including but not limited to the ability to identify the survey target group, draw up survey instruments, and capture survey data online, by telephone, through in–depth interviews. • Demonstrate a track record of preparing reports of this kind and be able to write clearly and present statistical data in a way that is understandable to the public. • Data points will likely include, but not be limited to:– Total number of jobs and businesses added to each Rhode Island climate tech industry segment. – Total number of clean energy workers by region. – Company size by number of employees. – Clean energy firms and employment by primary activity. – Clean energy firms and employment by clean energy focus. – Renewable energy employees by technology focus (2) The contract period will be for three years.
