Description
During emergencies that necessitate the opening of Special Needs Shelters, Alachua County has contracted with a primary transportation provider to pick up and transport special needs clients from their home to the Special Needs Shelter, and return clients to their home after the sheltering event is over. To augment the County's primary Special Needs transportation provider's capabilities, Alachua County is seeking an additional transportation company to perform the same duties as the primary provider on an as-needed basis.
