Associated Project for Prequalification of Continuing Contractors for Construction Engineering Inspection (CEI) Services

It is the intent of Hernando County Board of County Commissioners to place qualified firms under the classification of Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) services to perform professional services as needed by the County on a task order rotation basis. CEI services may include, but are not limited to, monitoring the progress and quality of construction work, ensuring construction work meets specifications and required standards, evaluating feasibility and practicality of construction methods, providing construction estimates, and reviewing and evaluating claims related to a construction project. Individual projects to be included in the Scope of Work will be miscellaneous in scope, of varied size and complexity as required by Hernando County and in conformance with the Consultant's Competitive Negotiation Act (CCNA), Section 287.055 of the Florida Statutes (Current Edition). The County reserves the right to award multiple Contracts for Construction Engineering and Inspection Services and one or more contracts for Geotechnical Services. Contract to one (1) or more Consultants.
