Used Gasoline Collection, Transport & Recycling Service

Pinellas County Purchasing on behalf of Pinellas County Department of Solid Waste (DSW) is seeking a qualified contractor to provide services of pickup, removal, transport, and disposal/recovery of spent gasoline. Pinellas County Solid Waste’s Household Electronics and Chemical Collection Center (HEC3) accepts spent gasoline and two-cycle gas/oil mixture from residents at their permanent facility, located at 2855 109th Avenue North, St. Petersburg, FL 33716. HEC3 is equipped with two (2) 500-gallon aboveground storage tanks in which the spent gasoline and two-cycle gas/oil mixture is stored. On average, 3,705 gallons of spent gasoline is collected every one (1) month. It is expected that the contractor pumps the gasoline directly from the tank(s) into the transport vehicle.
