VERMILION PROVINCIAL PARK SHOP DOOR WIDENING AND SIDING REPLACEMENT

PROJECT OBJECTIVE: Replacement of existing overhead door and wooden siding with a wider door to allow for larger equipment to have easier access to the maintenance shop. PROJECT LOCATION: Vermilion Provincial Park (PP) – approximately 180 km east of Sherwood Park, Alberta on Hwy AB 16 - Vermilion PP, Becky Scott Trail, Vermilion, AB T9X 1M1. Google Maps Link is in the RFQ SCOPE OF WORK: • Mobilization and Demobilization of all equipment • Supply and haul onto site, new 14’X10’ overhead door (white in color), 3/4hp commercial wall mount garage door opener with chain hoist, 26-Gauge metal cladding – Westform Metals WF-12-36R® Wall (tan in color) or an equivalent with the approval of the project manager and all associated materials and flashings to complete door and cladding replacement. Approximate dimensions of the building to determine square footage for exterior steel cladding are 32’ W-18’ T with a 4/12 pitch roof. • Remove existing overhead door, siding and hardware. • Ensure maintenance shop can be secured while door is being replaced. • Reframe door opening to allow for the larger door. • Install new overhead door and garage door opener according to the manufacture’s specification. • Install new exterior steel cladding. • Clean up of the site and remove all debris created during siding replacement. Clean up of work site is required and debris to be disposed of offsite, and not in Parks refuse containers.
