Environmental Justice Review of existing codes and ordinances. This review will evaluate existing codes and ordinances to determine if sufficient language exists to compel equality regarding environmental risk and benefit for communities throughout Escambia County. Deliverables Written assessment of the efficacy of Escambia County local codes and ordinances in upholding the interests of environmental justice stakeholders, including: -New environmental justice policies for the BCC to consider for adoption into the Escambia County Comprehensive Plan -Recommendation to launch this initiative as a community pilot project or county-wide -Strategies for increasing public input into the recommendations utilizing both in-person and technology to reach citizens
