ITQ#161078 Altec Bucket Truck Upfit

The City of Homestead Electric Utilities Department is seeking quotes from qualified suppliers for the procurement and installation of various upfit items to customize a newly acquired bucket truck. Due to supply chain limitations, the City purchased a standard base model truck without factory customization. As a result, additional equipment and modifications are required to enhance functionality, safety, and efficiency for electric utility operations. The selected supplier will be responsible for supplying and installing all necessary upfit components. These may include, but are not limited to, tool storage solutions, safety lighting, power inverters, ladder racks, and other utility-related enhancements. The award may not be based solely on price. The City will also consider the supplier’s ability to meet project timelines and provide installation in accordance with the City’s operational schedule. Suppliers should demonstrate prior experience with similar vehicle upfit projects and provide estimated lead times for completion. Interested vendors must submit a detailed quote including itemized pricing, proposed equipment specifications, estimated project duration, and availability.
