(1) Vendor needs to provide battery lifecycle, warranty and risk management solutions to the government authority located in Spokane, WA.– Assess Available Battery Lifecycle and Risk Management Solutions. Identify currently available, emerging, and reasonably anticipated technical and commercial solutions for managing high–voltage batteries throughout the useful life of transit vehicles.– Develop a comprehensive understanding of the current and emerging market for battery lifecycle, warranty, and risk management solutions for transit fleets; identify approaches that may improve long–term battery performance, cost certainty, and asset management; and provide the Participating Agencies with information that may support future planning and procurement activities.– Understand Long–Term Battery Service, Replacement Availability, and Supply–Chain Support: Identify approaches for maintaining access to replacement batteries, modules, components, technical support, and other resources necessary to support reliable fleet operations throughout the vehicle lifecycle.
