(1) Vendor needs to provide attorney services to the government authority located in Los Altos Hills, CA. – General counsel and governance:– Provide clear, concise, practical, and timely legal advice to the town council, city manager, department heads, staff, and authorized boards, commissions, and committees.– Attend regular and special town council meetings, study sessions, and closed sessions; advise on agenda items, parliamentary procedure, procedural requirements, and legal issues that arise during meetings.– Attend planning commission meetings as requested and provide legal support for land use hearings, appeals, findings, conditions of approval, and related procedural matters.– Land use, housing, environmental, and code matters:– Advise on general plans, zoning, subdivisions, development review, conditional use permits, variances, appeals, enforcement procedures, vested rights, exactions, takings, and other land use matters.– Provide counsel on the agency environmental quality act and related environmental review requirements.– Public works, real property, contracts, and finance.– Employment, labor, risk, claims, and litigation.– Legislative monitoring and proactive advice.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than September 11, 2026.(3) The contract period will be for three years.
