(1) Vendor needs to provide volunteer and professional firefighters innovative cancer screening technologies program services to the government authority located in Baltimore, MD. – Cancer screening tests are tests designed to find cancer in an individual who does not yet present with cancer signs or symptoms.– These may include, but are not limited to:– A laboratory test.– An imaging procedure.– A medical procedure.– A genetic test.– Assemble a local health care team to help choose a screening test, to oversee the testing processes, and to help ensure participants receive appropriate counseling and navigation to diagnostic and treatment services.– Identify the number of firefighters at greatest risk for cancer and prioritize who will be screened.– Designate an operations person to lead the team.– Designate an administrative person to file reports and invoices and to communicate regularly.– Partnerships with innovative cancer screening test companies are permitted, but cancer screening test company employees and, to reduce conflict of interest, affiliated consultants may not serve as members of the applicant’s healthcare team.– A cancer screening test company may assist the applicant to:– Coordinate screening logistics.– Schedule screening sessions.– Provide written materials and templates for pre– and post–test counselling.– Ensure sample storage and transportation.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than November 13, 2026.(3) Pre–bid meeting will be held on October 19, 2026.
