HR-9078 - USA (Christiansburg, Virginia) - Compensation Study Services - Budget - Up to 50,000 USD per year - Deadline July 24,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide compensation study services to the government authority located in Christiansburg, VA.– Review the Town’s current compensation plan and understand current challenges with recruiting and retaining employees.– Review specific classification groupings, conduct a job analysis (if needed), review position placement within the compensation system, and recommend appropriate changes for groups that are identified as having possible misalignment.– Identify and recommend comparable labor markets, including both public and private sector employers, for a compensation survey. – Develop and conduct a comprehensive compensation survey for Town positions.– Review the current compensation structure and recommend appropriate changes to salary ranges for each position based on the classification plan, compensation survey results, and internal relationships and equity.– Review and update the Town’s current pay structure using the results of the survey and best practices.– Recommend implementation strategies including calculating the cost of implementing changes to the plan with current employees– Identify any unique current individual or group compensation inequities and provide a recommended corrective action plan and process to remedy these situations. – Create updated job clarifications and structure documents, as appropriate.(2) All questions must be submitted no later than July 7, 2026.(3) The contract period will be for three years.
