(1) Vendor needs to provide inmate food and management services to the government authority located in Washington, DC.– Operate and manage the department of corrections' food service program.– Plans menu adaptations for individuals with special needs.– Assesses customer preference, industry trends, and current research to develop a long–range plan that facilitates continuous program improvement.– Plans and analyzes menus for all inmates in the district to ensure that meal pattern and nutritional requirements are met.– Cook shall provide the meal plans and direct and supervise the activities of the kitchen.– Provide a registered dietitian.(2) A pre–bid conference will be held on August 24, 2026.(3) The contract period will be for five years.
