The City of Anaheim ("Anaheim") Public Utilities Department ("APU") seeks proposals for Project Title . APU is a publicly-owned, non-profit electric, gas, and water utility serving an area of approximately fifty square miles. APU participates in the California Independent System Operator (CAISO), utilizing a mix of owned and non-owned generation sources and transmission resources. As a municipal utility, APU must comply with a variety of laws and regulations while providing services. The Energy Risk Management (ERM) Program frameworks the organization’s guidelines for planning, executing, and controlling the management of risks associated with short and long term wholesale energy transactions. A crucial component of the ERM Program is evaluating counterparties, securities market data, fixed income instruments (bonds, corporate issuance), credit review (ratings from the three major agencies: S&P, Moody’s, and Fitch), economic data, and energy transaction analytics. This information is used for necessary risk based decision making for short and long term energy transactions. APU is seeking a vendor who can offer a information system platform, program, and/or site which offers the tools the utility requires.
