ACCT-27178 - USA (Texas) - Actuarial Audit Services - Deadline January 13,2027

(1) Vendor needs to provide actuarial audit services to the government authority located in Texas. – Audit will review the Actuarial Valuation Reports for Pension Plans Administered by ERS as of August 31, 2027, for ERS’ retirement plans to assure that the results as presented are actuarially sound and reasonable.– Validate the results of the August 31, 2027, actuarial valuations for the plans, using appropriate mathematical Modeling and review of appropriate sample Member data to conclude if the actuarial liabilities and required contributions are valid.– Determine whether the actuarial valuation methods, assumptions, and procedures used: are reasonable and consistent with all applicable laws, Board policies, generally accepted actuarial principles and practices; are appropriate for the plan structure and funding objectives; and are applied.– Assess the financial effect of any errors or deviations from generally accepted actuarial principles and practices on the valuation results and employer contribution rates– Confirm the actuarial valuation results, including a determination of actuarial accrued liability, normal cost, expected Member contributions, and the effects of any recent legislation.– All necessary information to complete the audit will be provided. Previously, data requests have been coordinated between ERS’ pension actuary, Contractor, and ERS staff.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than November 16, 2026.
