CMAR Services for the Parks Maintenance Facility & West Meadow Restroom/Public Facility

West Meadow The City has a prominent location in the downtown Central Park area titled ‘The West Meadow’ where the installation will occur. Conveniently situated across from the newly installed Central Park Stage and Park Avenue, the Restroom/Public Facility is in close proximity to active and passive users, including residents, guests, weekend Farmer’s Market activity, vehicular travel on New York Avenue, office, residential and institutional building uses. The building will serve multiple purposes. In addition to restrooms for the public during daylight hours, it will also feature storage space for the City’s Parks Department, a small office for EMS and public safety to address public issues during times of distress during special events, etc. The completed site will serve as a placemaking cornerstone for the Park to be enjoyed by all. Park Maintenance The proposed location is along the Winter Park 9 Golf Course, where the installation will take place. Conveniently situated parallel to the fairway of hole #7, the site is intended to “thread the needle” between an active space while seamlessly blending into the flora and fauna background of an active golf course. The metal building will be 131 feet long and 56 feet wide, with building articulation accounting for the difference in square feet. The building is slated to be no more than 24 feet high (as described in the specifications). It shall include covered open-air storage bins (3x), a breakroom, staff restroom, janitorial closet, chemical storage, an office, and an area for an environmental disposal system as described in the specifications. The City understands that the metal building may be a pre-engineered structure. All surfaces shall be painted to protect from corrosion and colored to match the specifications in coordination with the City of Winter Park.
