(1) Vendor needs to provide centralized materials management, MRO supply and warehouse operations services to the government authority located in Albuquerque, NM.– A comprehensive centralized Materials Management and Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) warehouse program.– A strategic materials–management partner rather than solely as a product supplier.decentralized materials–management environment to a centralized, professionally managed model.– Consolidate decentralized Facility Services materials activities into a coordinated centralized warehouse operation.– Provide qualified contractor personnel to operate and manage the warehouse.– Improve availability of routine and critical MRO materials for planned, reactive, and emergency work.– Reduce technician time spent locating, sourcing, purchasing, and retrieving materials.– Establish work–order–based material accountability, PM kitting, critical–spare management, and transparent reporting.– Reduce duplicate, excess, obsolete, emergency, and spot–buy activity while improving inventory accuracy and turns.
