(1) Vendor needs to provide wage consulting and related services to the government authority located in Traverse, MI.• Create an equitable classification system based on actual duties, responsibilities, required knowledge, skills, abilities, certifications, and supervisory responsibilities. • Develop a competitive compensation system that enables the department to recruit and retain qualified employees in an increasingly competitive labor market. • Address wage compression and internal equity issues where they exist. • Improve career progression opportunities for skilled trades, operators, technicians, mechanics, supervisors, and administrative staff. • Ensure classifications accurately reflect the evolving responsibilities and technical requirements of positions. • Align compensation with regional and industry labor market conditions. • Develop compensation policies that support long–term workforce sustainability.
