Leadership Coach for the Comprehensive Schools

Pursuant to N.J.A.C.6A:33-4.1(e), there is a need to hire two leadership coaches for the Comprehensive II Schools. One coach will be hire to mentor Lincoln High School, and Snyder High School administrator(s) and the other coach will be assigned to mentor the administrator(s) at the Whitney M. Young School #15, and Fred W. Martin PS #41. The district is seeking a provider that has qualified/certified experienced administrators with experience turning around failing schools or very low performing schools. DESCRIPTION OF OPERATIONAL/EDUCATIONAL NEED: In January 2013, two highs and two elementary school were identified for comprehensive improvement by the NJDOE; Henry Snyder High School, Lincoln High School. Whitney M. Young, #15, and Martin Center #41. This determination was based on any or all of the following criteria: Four-year graduation rate or below 67% Title I school that has been identified as in need of targeted support and improvement for three of more consecutive years. summative score is at or below the bottom 5% percentile of Title I schools.
