ESTATE-12163 - USA (Key West, Florida) - Property and Casualty Insurance Brokerage Services - Deadline October 15,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide property and casualty insurance brokerage services to the government authority located in Key West, FL. • Assist the agency with all aspects of obtaining, placing, maintaining and servicing its property and casualty insurance program, including:– Identifying insurance issues, exposures, and coverage needs, advising the agency regarding available insurance options and negotiating on the agency’s behalf with insurance carriers and markets.– Assisting the agency in evaluating proposed coverage, limits, deductibles, self–insured retentions, exclusions, sublimits, endorsements, and other policy provisions.– Reviewing policies and endorsements for accuracy and conformity with the coverage authorized by the agency and negotiated with the insurance carrier.– Providing coverage summaries for all new coverage and updates regarding material changes to existing coverage.– Processing or facilitating the processing of certificates of insurance, as requested by the agency.– Providing assistance and advocacy to the agency regarding insurance claims, including communication with insurance carriers and assistance with significant or complex claims, as requested by the agency.• The broker/agent shall not bind, place, modify, or cancel insurance coverage on behalf of the agency without specific authorization from the agency in writing.• The broker/agent shall work through the agency’s risk management department and shall coordinate all insurance placement and servicing activities with the agency’s designated representative.• Transition services shall include, as applicable, obtaining and reviewing current policies, endorsements, coverage information, property schedules, loss runs, claims information, renewal information and other records necessary to assume responsibility for the agency’s insurance program and prepare for the renewal. (2) All the questions must be submitted no later than October 7, 2026. (3) The contract period will be for one year.
