Description
The City will ask the Contractor to design and to perform construction administration to include the preparation of plans, specifications, and estimate for an approximately 23,000 square foot Police Sub-Station. The site is located 163rd Avenue and San Ysidro just north of Surprise Fire-Medical Station #304. APN: 503-73-976 The police sub-station building is anticipated to incorporate the following spaces: • A facility that will accommodate 60 Police Officers. • Offices for 1 Commander, 3 Lieutenants, 6 Sergeants, 2 Administrative Specialists, 2 Community Service Officers. • Briefing rooms, a fitness center, locker rooms, a break room, holding cells, interview rooms, dog kennels and gun range. • Temporary evidence lockers. • Parking sufficient for patrol, staff, and visitor vehicles. • Site improvements; utility stub outs, landscape, hardscape and on-site retention basins. • Possibility of off-site utilities, roadway, traffic signals and landscaping (location undetermined). The consultant will assist in defining the final criteria.
