Tennis / Pickleball Professional Services at Whispering Pines Park

Pursuant to the Port St. Lucie City Code of Ordinance 35.07, this electronic IFB is being issued to establish a contract with a qualified proposer who will provide Project Title to the City of Port St. Lucie (hereinafter, “City”) as further described in this IFB. The City of Port St. Lucie is seeking a qualified Tennis & Pickleball Professional to operate, program, and deliver instruction at the Racquet & Paddle Center at Whispering Pines Park. The selected contractor will provide full-service racquet sports programming—including lessons, leagues, tournaments, clinics, and events—across a facility featuring five (5) tennis courts, one (1) tournament court that are both programed by the Tennis/Pickleball Professional and Treasure Coast High School Athletic Director during Tennis season , and twenty-four (24) pickleball courts with lighting and shaded grandstands. Reporting to the Parks & Recreation Department, the contractor will be responsible for customer service, court monitoring, recordkeeping, and maintaining operational standards. The City retains scheduling authority and requires coordination with St. Lucie Public Schools for shared facility use. The contractor will submit monthly financial reports and remit a revenue share to the City, supporting both community engagement and fiscal stewardship. This project aims to enhance recreational opportunities, promote healthy lifestyles, and ensure high-quality, accessible racquet sports programming for residents and visitors of Port St. Lucie.
