Solar Lights

3150-MODOT ST LOUIS DISTRICT

Description

The Missouri Department of Transportation, St. Louis District, has determined that only one source, Solar Lighting International, can provide the department with STEALTH II 120-23-O-IXC Solar Lighting Solution. MoDOT has not found any other product on the market that meets our needs. Our district is currently experiencing high theft of copper wire. Solar lights are operated by sunlight. These solar lights do not require wires, conduits, junction boxes, or costly contractor work. Because all components are mounted above ground and out of reach, there is no risk of wire theft. This ensures our roadways remain safely lit for the public. This notice shall meet the single feasible source requirements for one calendar year and in association with the needs required. Contract Period: Date of Award - August 31, 2027, with the option to renew for two (2) one-year renewal period.
