(1) Vendor needs to provide governance and fundraising retreat consultant services.• Clarify the distinction between governance and management.• Define the Board's role in advancing the foundation's strategic priorities.• Increase confidence and engagement in fundraising.• Learn practical approaches to donor cultivation, stewardship, and ambassador activities.• Develop shared expectations for board participation in philanthropy.• Identify opportunities to strengthen Board effectiveness and accountability, all in alignment with hospital priorities.1. Planning:– Meet with foundation leadership prior to the retreat (in person or virtually).– Recommend an agenda tailored to the foundation's needs.– Participate in planning meetings with foundation leadership.2. Maximizing fundraising:– Building a culture of philanthropy.– The board's role in fundraising.– Making meaningful donor connections.– Relationship–based fundraising.– Board member engagement strategies.– Giving expectations.– Stewardship and donor retention.– Ambassador responsibilities.– Practical fundraising conversations.(2) All question must be submitted no later than September 21, 2026.(3) A contract period will be for one year.
