(1) Vendor needs to provide liability claims administration service. – Provide self–insured–general and auto liability claims administration services for the city.– Serve as its third–party claim’s administrator for general and automobile liability claims administration.– All third–party liability torts filed with the city will be forwarded to the contractor for review and action.– New claims must be set up and contact made with claimants within24 hours of receipt of claim.– Adjusters assigned to the city's accounts hall have reasonable caseloads to provide the city efficient and competent claims handling.– Maintain service on a 24 hour, seven days a week basis to receive telephone calls and respond to emergencies.– Handling claims adjusters must have a minimum of five years' experience providing third–party administrator services and handling public safety claims for large public entities.– Provide claim management system that city staff can access to review and approve claims.– Able to respond to emergency situations immediately, regardless of the time of day.– Releases and waivers regarding claims settlements will be obtained by the contractor unless handled by the city attorney’s office.– Trust account will be reconciled on a monthly basis.(2) The contract period will be for five years. (3) All the questions must be submitted no later than August 13, 2026.
