(1) Vendor needs to provide legal counsel services to the government authority located in Alhambra, CA. • Provide legal counsel and advice regarding the interpretation of city administrative policies, municipal code, fire department and policies, police department and policies, and civil service commission rules.• Attend meetings (and special meetings) on an as needed basis to provide legal advice and guidance.• Advise the Commission on investigations of complaints.• Assist the Commission in administrative hearings and related regulatory matters.• Assist the commission in the drafting, reviewing or amending of the commission rules, regulations, notices of investigations, and commission decisions.• Review and respond to public records requests, when and where applicable to the commission.• Process subpoena requests from employees or their legal representatives.• Provide general legal guidance on personnel and procedural matters affecting commission.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than Oct 5, 2026.(3) The contract period will be for three years.
