The information sought shall be considered Market Research IAW FAR Part 10.001.IntroductionThe purpose of this is to obtain information and comments from interested and potential sources that can agree to a no cost exchange of property whereby the United States Government will deliver multiple serviceable and unserviceable F100–229 engines to the contractor, in exchange the contractor will provide multiple F100–229 new and serviceable engine augmentor modules. Access to the full volume of engine modules is not required to respond to this RFI.Description(s)The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Propulsion Sustainment Division is seeking sources which have the capabilities of providing F100–229 augmentor modules. The modules are required to be new and fully serviceable upon installation. Modules should be free of visible corrosion and free of physical damage. No funding will be provided for this effort. This will be an exchange of property only.RFI QuestionsWhat is your current inventory of the requested engine module variants?Under what timeline will these engine modules become available?What is the condition of the engine modules you can provide (e.g., used serviceable, used unserviceable)?Can you provide traceability and documentation for the engine modules and their components as specified upon purchase?Please provide any additional relevant feedback that is deemed important in developing this requirement.
