Sidewalk and Pedestrian Bridge Snow Removal

The Prince George’s County (“the County”) Office of Procurement, Business Services Division (“OOP”), on behalf of the County’s Department of Public Works and Transportation (“DPW&T”), is soliciting qualified, experienced, and properly equipped contractors to provide comprehensive snow and ice removal services for designated sidewalks, shared-use paths, and bridge sidewalks throughout the County’s maintained network. This initiative is being advanced in response to increasing pedestrian activity, heightened risk exposure associated with winter weather events, and the County’s obligation to maintain safe, accessible, and passable pedestrian infrastructure. Continuous Open Period: This is a Continuous Open Solicitation. The Solicitation will remain open and continuously accept submissions from the date of issuance through February 27, 2027, or until canceled earlier by Prince George’s County (“the County”), whichever occurs first. The County’s award of multiple contracts under this Solicitation shall not close the Solicitation, and the County reserves the right to continue accepting submissions, to continue evaluating submissions, and to make additional awards throughout the duration of the Solicitation. Weekly Submission Cutoff: Each weekly cycle closes at 4:00 PM local time on Wednesday (the “Weekly Cutoff”). Submissions received at or before the Weekly Cutoff are evaluated in that week’s cycle. When a County-observed holiday falls in the cycle, the Weekly Cutoff moves to the next business day.
