DEBRIS MANAGEMENT SERVICES

Greenville County is seeking responses from storm debris clearing contractor(s) to provide debris clearing services associated with Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) natural disasters in Greenville County, South Carolina. The County of Greenville reserves the right to award to one or more vendors. Municipalities within Greenville County have the option to be covered under this Request for Proposals; separate contracts with those municipalities are required for those projects. The successful vendor(s) shall be capable of providing clearing and hauling services associated with the collection of storm debris. Debris will be located on Greenville County property and within road right-of-ways (ROW). Based on the severity of a storm event, services will be contracted on an as-needed basis to be determined by Greenville County. Upon selection, the vendor(s) shall receive a contract to perform debris removal services. If a disaster event is deemed severe enough to need debris removal services, the vendor(s) will receive a Notice to Proceed at which time a performance and labor and material bond will be required.
