(1) Vendor needs to provide federal legislative lobbying services to the government authority located in Visalia, CA.• Review of bills introduced in the legislature and inform the City in a timely manner on legislation which could have an impact on the City• Assist the City in efforts in influencing legislation and in seeking and capturing revenues which are available to local government through the Federal government• Assist the City in identifying funding opportunities and, when requested by the City, provide technical assistance with the preparation, review, and support of grant applications and funding requests.• Monitor the progress of applications and work aggressively on behalf of the City to secure approval.• Provide regular legislative updates and funding opportunity notifications as significant developments occur.• Participate in biweekly coordination meetings or conference calls with designated City staff.(2) An informational proposal conference will be held on August 26,2026.(3) All question must be submitted no later than August 28, 2026.(4) A contract term will be for five years.
