Description

(1) Vendor needs to provide firewall replacement service to the government authority located in Arroyo Grande, CA. – Replace end–of–life firewalls with new appliances, including installation, configuration, migration, and ongoing support.• Conduct project kick–off with stakeholders.• Review and analyse existing firewall configurations, VPNs, NAT rules, VLANs, routing, and system integrations.• Identify risks, gaps, and dependencies.• Develop the detailed Migration & Cutover Plan.• Supply new firewall hardware and all required licenses.• Confirm support terms including TAC, updates, and hardware replacement.• Install and configure the new firewall appliances.• Configure interfaces, routing, security zones, policies, NAT, VPNs, authentication, and logging.• Translate and optimize existing rule sets.• Apply industry best practice hardening standards.• Execute migration during a scheduled maintenance window.• Validate connectivity, internal/external service operations, VPN access, and HA functionality.• Maintain a rollback plan.• Conduct functional testing across all departments and key systems.• Validate HA synchronization and failover behavior.• Confirm logging and alerting integration.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than July 8, 2026.(3) An optional pre–bid meeting will be held on July 6, 2026.
