LEGAL-18325 - USA (Toms River, New Jersey) - General County Counsel Services - Deadline November 13,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide general county counsel services to the government authority located in Toms River, NJ.– Legal research and advisory opinions, as needed.– Represent the county and the board of commissioners in matters before federal and state courts, administrative tribunals and other forums, as requested by the county.– Review and draft county resolutions, ordinances and motions.– Review and draft contracts and shared services agreements.– Attend meetings of the board of commissioners, as requested.– Attend meetings of county departments or agencies, as requested.– Be readily available for meetings with county officials, department heads or their designees upon request.– Advise the county and the board of commissioners regarding changes in state or federal law or regulations, as well as court decisions that may impact the county.– Perform any other legal services as directed and authorized by the County.(2) The contract period will be for three years.
