Vendor needs to provide derelict vessel disposal services to the government authority located in Alaska.• Contractor is responsible for towing each vessel by water from its designated moorage location and performing all haul–out operations at a location coordinated by the contractor.• Contractor shall supply all towing vessels, equipment, personnel, and rigging necessary for safe water towing and haul–out of each vessel from moorage.• Contractor is responsible for all grounding, beaching, or use of marine travel lifts, or other haul–out methods required after towing each vessel from moorage to the haul–out site.• Contractor shall conduct a thorough materials assessment of each vessel prior to disposal.• All ferrous and non–ferrous metals (fasteners, hardware, engines, fuel tanks, fittings, etc.) shall be segregated and delivered to an approved recycling or scrap facility coordinated by the Contractor.• All organic materials (wood hull planking, framing, decking, cabinetry, etc.) and non–recyclable materials shall be transported to a contractor–coordinated approved disposal or crushing facility.
