  "summary": "<p style=\"margin: 3pt 0in 3pt 0.25in; font-size: medium; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">In order to gain economies of scale, Mohave is formally soliciting statewide sources of E-Rate internal connections and basic maintenance as specified within this Request for Proposal.&nbsp;&nbsp;These products/services are requested for Mohave&rsquo;s membership of over 480 public agencies. This contract is written to accommodate our members&rsquo; needs for E-Rate compliant pricing for our member&rsquo;s FCC Form 471 process and to provide FCC Form 470 compliant procurement that can be referenced as the establishing Form 470 on the E-Rate application.&nbsp;<strong>Contracts, in whole or in part, shall be awarded to offeror(s) for a full term, not to exceed</strong></span><strong><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; color: black;\">&nbsp;a maximum of 60-months total</span></strong><strong><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></strong><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">This contract term is for the benefit of Mohave&rsquo;s members in regard to Universal Service Administrative Company&rsquo;s (USAC) funding cycle.</span></p><p style=\"margin: 3pt 0in 3pt 0.5in; font-size: medium; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><strong><em><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Mohave&rsquo;s Form 470 Application Number is: <strong style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-style: normal; text-align: start;\">240002243</strong>&nbsp;</span></em></strong></p><p style=\"margin: 3pt 0in 3pt 0.25in; font-size: medium; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Initial activity under the contract shall be for E-Rate funding year 7/01/2024 &ndash; 6/30/2025.&nbsp;&nbsp;Subsequent purchases shall be for funding periods as defined by the USAC and/or the Schools and Libraries Division (SLD).&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></p><ul style=\"margin-top: 3.0pt; margin-bottom: 3.0pt;\"><li style=\"margin: 3pt 0in 3pt 24px; text-align: justify; font-size: 12pt;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">See requirements in the Special Terms and Conditions regarding the handling of Mohave&rsquo;s administration fee.</span></strong></li><li style=\"margin: 3pt 0in 3pt 24px; text-align: justify; font-size: 12pt;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Vendors that do not hold a current Service Provider Information Number (SPIN) shall be rejected and shall not be considered for award.</span></strong></li><li style=\"margin: 3pt 0in 3pt 24px; text-align: justify; font-size: 12pt;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Facility cabling not related to the installation of products in the scope of work of this RFP, trenching, and mechanical system upgrades shall not be allowed under an awarded contract.</span></strong></li><li style=\"margin: 3pt 0in 3pt 24px; text-align: justify; font-size: 12pt;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">E-Rate consulting services are not requested and shall not be offered under an awarded contract.</span></strong></li></ul><p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; text-align: start; font-size: 10pt;\">The scope of work and specifications define the quality and characteristics of the desired materials and application.&nbsp;&nbsp;They are based upon specifications for known acceptable manufacturers, processes, materials and/or brands such as&nbsp;</span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; text-align: start; font-size: 10pt;\">3M, APC, Aruba, Atlas Sound, Belkin, Blonder Tongue, Brocade, Cisco, Dell, Extreme Networks, HP, Kingston, Meraki, Microsoft, NEC, Ortronics, Ruckus, Wiremold, Xirrus, and equal quality products</span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; text-align: start; font-size: 10pt;\">.&nbsp;&nbsp;The specifications are not intended to be exclusive or to restrict competition.&nbsp;&nbsp;Offerors may offer alternate solutions, including alternate manufacturers, which meet the quality and performance characteristics in the specifications.&nbsp;&nbsp;Mohave shall review such offers and be the final judge on the acceptance of any alternate solutions.</span></p>",
