Firewall Network Equipment for e-Rate Funding Year 2025-26

Description

This Request for Proposal (RFP) is for Category 2 firewall, including associated subscription licensing needed to upgrade and expand the District’s current firewall capabilities. There are no installation requirements for this solicitation. Tucson Unified School District has dramatically increased network traffic with the addition of a student 1-to-1 program that provides a mobile device for each student, as well as for each teacher and administrator. The purchase of this equipment will support the expansion of the firewall capabilities for current and future traffic security as well as provide needed equipment to expand and upgrade WAN capabilities for enhanced growth up to 50GB. A purchase order will be issued to the awarded vendor as soon as funding is available, no later than July 1, 2025. In addition, the District reserves the right to limit or modify the scope of work based on budgetary limitations unrelated to E-Rate. To ensure funding availability all invoicing must be issued not later than June 30, 2026. Applicant – Tucson Unified School District Billed Entity Number – 143120 Establishing Form 470 – 250002096 Offerors must include their E-Rate SPIN (Service Provider Identification Number), FCC Registration Number, and evidence of green light status. Adhere and comply with all requirements of the product Manufacturer. Offeror shall include details of its extended product warranty and system assurance with proposal response.
