Large Tree Planting Paper Park Cantonment FL

This project aims to improve the environmental benefits provided by native trees at the new Timber Toss Disc Golf, Paper Park in Cantonment. The 68-acre site is located at the corner of Muskogee Road and Hwy 29. The site includes a walking track, disc golf course, and a playground. The scope of work involves planting and maintaining 35 Large (2-inch caliper or greater) trees until the end of the 9-month warranty period. Planting is to enhance the park and buffer disc golf activity. Escambia County will purchase the trees from Panhandle Growers. The selected contractor will coordinate delivery, plant, water, and maintain the trees according to the scope of work. County staff will mark and flag the placement of trees before delivery. No water is available on site. Selected contractor must be a member of at least one professional tree care organization and if asked provide references of experience in planting and maintaining similar large tree projects. Delivery and planting will commence within 3 weeks after acceptance of the contract.
