Description
The purpose of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to define the County’s minimum requirements and gain adequate information by which the County may evaluate services offered by contractors or vendors. As used herein, the term contractor or vendor shall mean the contractor, its employees, or agents. The County of Solano, Central Services Division, Purchasing Services Office, hereinafter referred to as the County, is soliciting bids for the Sheriff’s Office, Marine Patrol Division, for a contractor to remove, destroy and dispose of abandoned watercrafts from Solano County jurisdictional waterways. The tentative time frame for completion of this project is July 31, 2024. This time frame is subject change based on the County needs and changing conditions. It is the County’s intentions to abate these watercrafts as specified in this IFB. However, the County reserves the right to postpone this project based on available funding.
