(1) Vendor needs to provide resource family training and support services to the government authority located in Clovis, CA. – Provision of comprehensive training and support services for resource families, accessible both in–person and online.– Training provided should enhance the knowledge and skills of agency resource families and assist them to meet the complex needs of children who are dependents of the Child Welfare System.– Provide comprehensive training and support services to resource families.– Resource family approval (RFA) program was established in response to the growing number of resource families, stemming from the continuum of care reform (CCR) program’s new regulations.– Program consolidates foster parent licensing, relative approval, adoption home study, and legal guardianship assessments into a unified process.– vendor must demonstrate the capacity and experience to fulfil the minimum ongoing resource family core training requirements.– Acceptable courses must encompass, but are not limited to, the following topics:– Trauma–informed care and attachment.– Core practice model.– Crisis intervention.– Behavioral management with a focus on positive discipline.– Supporting children and non–minor dependents in school.– Effects of drug and alcohol abuse on children and non–minor dependents.– Effects of domestic violence and non–minor dependent.– Emancipation and independent living.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than October 14, 2026.(3) The contract period will be for three years.
