(1) Vendor needs to provide jail food services to the government authority located in Las Vegas, NV.• Procedures of meal delivery to inmates• Provide a sample eight–week cycle menu for inmates and staff based on sample provided• Sample menu shall detail at least 14 consecutive days of non–repetitive meals to include meals for special diets (such as medical and religious diets) that is approved by a registered dietician. Sample to include a minimum of hot breakfast 3 times per week.• Quality of food served and inventory control methods• Procedures to ensure safe, sanitary and secure food service management• Supervision of inmate labor and internal security of products and equipment• Identify any additional equipment that may be necessary for food service operation• Propose a method to electronically manage staff meals, example: staff has to swipe badge to obtain meal.• Operate the food service program in a safe and cost–effective manner• Operate the food service program using correction–experienced and professionally trained personnel.• SPECIAL HOLIDAY MEALS– Thanksgiving – Inmate Lunch– Sliced Turkey (3oz)– Cranberry Sauce (2oz)• Christmas – Inmate Lunch– Sliced Turkey (3oz)– Cranberry Sauce (2oz)(2) The contract period will be for one year.(3) All the questions must be submitted no later than August 5, 2026
