(1) Vendor needs to provide community civil rights coordinator services.• Serves as primary staff liaison to the commission. May also serve as staff liaison to additional boards, authorities, commissions, or committees, as assigned by the manager’s office. • Develops collaborative and productive working relationships with advisory board/commission members and board leadership to support the effective administration of the board’s work, facilitate communication, and provide procedural and administrative support consistent with applicable ordinances and policies.• Coordinates and prepares agendas, minutes, meeting notices, meeting materials, and other official records.• Provides support to the commission towards the development of their annual work plan, including submitting it to the mayor and commission via agenda item, and sharing quarterly updates.• Facilitates meetings, discussions, and collaborative processes involving advisory boards, community stakeholders, staff, and other participants; supports productive dialogue, helps participants navigate differing perspectives, and maintains a neutral and professional approach in sensitive or complex discussions.• Represents the office of community well–being and civil rights at community meetings and outreach events.
