Description

Fulton Playfield Multi-Benefit Infiltration Project is funded via Safe Clean Water Program from Los Angeles County. This project will add infiltration elements into the exiting Green Flag Detention basin in the City of Redondo Beach to add water quality and volume reduction benefits without compromising its flood control function. The project will modify the existing diversion chamber of the Greenflag Basin in order to divert more stormwater to the basin during storm events and installation of 13 drywells adjacent to the basin. The project also involves construction of biofiltration planters and ocean-friendly garden to provide other surface benefits.
