TRANSLATION-8277 - USA (Texas) - Language Access Services - Deadline August 19,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide language access services.– Language Services Providers to deliver comprehensive language access services necessary to ensure meaningful access to healthcare services for patients, families, and companions with Limited English Proficiency (LEP), as well as individuals who are Deaf, Hard of Hearing, or Deaf Blind.– Language Services Provider (LSP) In–Person Services.The LSP shall provide the following services:• In–person interpretation services for spoken languages.• In–Person services for Signed Languages, American Sign language, Certified Def Interpreters, and other Sign Languages.– Language Services Providers (LSP) Remote Services• Over–the–phone interpretation (OPI)• Video remote interpretation (VRI)• Audio and virtual interpretation platforms• Any other remote service for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing• Any other remote auxiliary aids for Blind patient populations• Suppliers must maintain remote interpretation capability to ensure redundancy, continuity of operations, and uninterrupted access to language services.– provide qualified healthcare interpretation services across all required modalities, including in–person, phone, video, audio, and virtual encounters. – All interpreters must demonstrate competency in healthcare interpreting, including medical terminology, interpreter ethics, confidentiality, and culturally appropriate communication– Translation Services and Quality Assurance: The Local LSP shall provide professional translation services for clinical, legal, administrative, and patient–facing documents. – All translation services must undergo a structured quality assurance process that includes editing and proofreading by qualified human translators(2) The contract period will be for one year.(3) All the questions must be submitted no later than August 5, 2026(4) Pre–Proposal Conference will be held on July 29, 2026
