Description
The Contra Costa County Probation Department (Probation) is pleased to announce the solicitation of interest from qualified agencies to provide Out of Custody Spiritual Care Services for youth and young adults on probation as they transition back to their communities for a period of September 1, 2025 through August 30, 2027. Responses are to be submitted through the OpenGov Procurement Portal at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/contracostacounty no later than on Response Submission Date . The purpose of this project is to expand our outreach to Probation clients and provide them with the services they need to thrive. Our goal is to ensure that clients can access spiritual and faith-based services, enabling them to gain a deeper understanding of themselves, their purpose, and their connections to the broader community. By fostering relationships between clients and the community, we aim to expand their support network, enabling them to rely on a broader range of organizations for guidance and assistance, including support for educational and vocational goals, as well as life and independent living skills. Essential components of this project include professional and/or lived experience mentoring, counseling services, and emergency and crisis response for the client and their family.
