The Government of the Republic of South Sudan, through the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation, has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of implementation of the Regional Climate Resilience Program for Eastern and Southern Africa and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Supply of Furniture and Fixtures for the new PIU Office Building. For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing, 2. The Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Supply of Furniture and Fixtures as shown below List of Goods and Delivery Schedule Items Brief Description Unit Qty Earliest Delivery period (CIP MWRI - Juba) Latest Delivery Period (CIP MWRI-Juba) Lot 1: Office Furniture Items 1-12 Workstations, Executive Office Tables & Chairs, Standard Office Tables and Chairs, Pc Various 30 60 Days Conference Tables, Chairs and Filing Cabinets. Lot 2: Other Items Items 1-4 Water Dispensers, Fridges and Gas Cooker Pc Various 30 Days 3. Bidders may bid for one or more lots. Contracts will be awarded on lot basis . More details on the goods are provided in the schedule of requirements and specifications of the bidding document. Bidders are encouraged to visit the site before submitting their bid . 4. There will be no Margin of Preference. 5. Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers Seventh Edition, dated September 2025 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations that meet the following requirements: Certificate of Registration or Certificate of Incorporation Valid Trading or Operation License Evidence of Tax compliance 6. The bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of USD 100.00 (One Hundred United States Dollars) . Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 10.00 hours local time on 24th August 2026 . Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected.
