Legal Transcriptions Services

This Request for Proposal is to establish a contract for Legal Transcription Services for the County of Sacramento Public Defender, any other Law Enforcement Agency of the County of Sacramento on an as-needed basis. The contract period will be for five years (1) year initial term, plus four one-year extensions at the option of the County). The estimated annual usage is 45,000 pages. RUSH work accounts for approximately 10% of the volume. Spanish Translation (or other foreign languages) accounts for approximately 2% of the volume. The Public Defender’s Office reserves the right to award a separate contract for transcription / translation for Spanish and other languages.
