(1) Vendor needs to provide medical physicals exams services to the government authority located in Houston, TX.• The examiner asks detailed questions about your past and current medical conditions, medications, surgeries, and family health history to identify any issues that could affect driving safety.• Vital signs and measurements: blood pressure, pulse, height, weight, and body mass index (BMI) are measured to assess cardiovascular and overall health.• Vision and hearing tests: Drivers must have at least 20/40 vision in each eye (with or without correction) and adequate peripheral vision. Hearing is tested using a whisper test or similar method to ensure you can perceive sounds critical for safe driving.• Physical examination: A hands–on assessment includes checking the heart, lungs, abdomen, extremities, musculoskeletal system, and neurological function. The examiner may listen to your heart and lungs with a stethoscope, check reflexes, observe your gait, and assess joint mobility.• Urinalysis: A urine sample is tested for protein, blood, sugar, and specific gravity, which can indicate kidney issues, diabetes, or other medical conditions.• Additional tests (if needed): Depending on your medical history or symptoms, the examiner may order further tests, such as a sleep apnea evaluation for drivers with risk factors like obesity or loud snoring.(2) A pre–bid conference will be held on October 14, 2026.(3) All question must be submitted no later than October 16, 2026.(4) A contract period will be for one year.
