Description

The U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor (DRL) announces an open competition for data collection and research on sexual violence and abuses globally, particularly against women and girls. This program will explore the drivers in the rise of sexual violence, accountability pathways for perpetrators regardless of nationality or status, and document victims of crimes including sexual assault, human trafficking, and forced displacement. The program will provide comprehensive reporting to inform law enforcement on human rights violations (HRVs), support civil society organizations working on victim protection and assistance, and identify recommendations for reducing sexual violence against populations in the target countries. Funding activity: Funding to support Democracy, Human Rights and Labor. Eligibility: The following U.S-based and international organizations are eligible to apply: • Not-for-profit organizations, including think tanks and civil society/non-governmental organizations • Public and private educational institutions • For-profit organizations • Individuals • Public International Organizations and Governmental institutions Award ceiling: 1,973,359 CFDA: 19.345
