DEBT-2162 - USA (Palm Bay, Florida) - Debt Collection Services - Deadline October 6,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide citywide debt collection services to the government authority located in Palm Bay, FL. – Provide debt collection services for the utility and building departments.– accounts sent to collections include outstanding utility bills and unpaid permit fees.– Provide transfer of accounts.– Payment Processes:• Collect all amounts due, inclusive of the contractor's collection fee, directly from the debtor.• Remit to the city, on a monthly basis, only the original account balance owed to the city.• Retain its collection fee from amounts collected.– Credit Bureau Placement:• Prior written approval from the building department before reporting any account to a credit bureau, and shall confirm that no payment has been made on the account.• City retains the right to direct removal or cancellation of any reported account at any time.– Maintenance of Accounts:• City will maintain a list of all accounts placed for collection with the collection agency. • All accounts that are paid in full will be purged from the collection agency’s database after no less than 90 days to allow for adjustments that may be required for rejected payments or posting errors.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than September 17, 2026.
