Ombuds Services

Dane County is soliciting proposals from interested firms and/or individuals to develop and operate an Ombuds program. Dane County is committed to providing every employee a safe and respectful workplace. The Ombuds program will serve as an independent and impartial resource for all employees. The selected firm or individual will assist employees in navigating county programs established to address workplace concerns. Additionally, this program will provide in-person training related to processes and procedures of County employment. The selected firm or individual will also be expected to report to a subcommittee of the County Board annually and to make recommendations for further action. The purpose of this document is to provide interested parties with information to enable them to prepare and submit a proposal according to the specifications set forth within this document. The County intends to use the results of this process to award a contract or issue a purchase order for the product(s) and/or services(s) stated: Purchase Description The Dane County Purchasing Division is the sole point of contact for questions and issues that may arise during the RFP process.
